Sam is from Dublin, Ireland, and moved to the United States in 2012 to complete a PG year at Berkshire School. In his year there, he was the starting goalkeeper on the NEPSAC winning soccer team and played NO. 2 singles an NO.1 doubles for the varsity tennis team. He went on to Kenyon College where he captained the soccer team as a junior and a senior. He graduated in the spring of 2017 with a B.A in History and Economics.
In the summer of 2014, Sam worked at the Advanced Studies Program at St Paul’s School, working as an intern for a class called “Changing the World,” as well as assisting in the dorms.
Sam teaches History and Economics and is the head coach of the varsity soccer team. He lives in Cluett III Centre West.
