Frank grew up in New Vernon, N.J. and attended The Peck School in Morristown, N.J. and then The Morristown Beard School. He graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in History. While at Haverford, Frank played soccer and squash. During a semester in the Williams College program at the Mystic Seaport in Connecticut Frank focused on Maritime History. Frank’s academic passion has always been US History, which he loves to study in his free time. After a year at St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island, and three at the Tuxedo Park School in Tuxedo Park, New York, Frank went to Harvard for a Masters in Education. He then taught history at Wilbraham and Monson Academy in Massachusetts for seven years. At Wilbraham he served as the Head Dorm Parent and coached Middle School Soccer and Outdoor Adventure. Frank also assisted in coaching Varsity Squash at Milton Academy in Massachusetts.

Frank was a camper and, for two years, a counselor at Keeywaydin Camp in Vermont, and he participated in The American Farm School program in Greece for a summer, returning later there as a trip leader. Frank now spends his summers as a camp counselor at Camp Arcadia in Casco, Maine, where he is Assistant to the Director and Head of Safety and wears many other hats.

In his free time, Frank enjoys travel, the outdoors, reading, movies, and photography. Frank lives in Dunbar South with his wife Katy, their daughter Anne, their son Graham, and their cats, Helen of Troy and Otto von Bismarck.
