Tom joined the Trinity-Pawling faculty in 1998 after a brief time as a teacher at St. Thomas More and as an adjunct faculty member at Rhode Island College. A native of Newport, Rhode Island, he also spent twelve summers teaching English at St. George’s School.

At Trinity-Pawling, Tom teaches one sophomore honors class, two sections of sophomore English, and the AP Literature class to seniors. He also serves as the head coach of the JV basketball team and assistant varsity golf coach. Tom’s love of literature is evident in the classroom, as he is always willing to discuss literature with anyone who is interested.

Tom and his wife Karen were drawn to the boarding school life in 1994, after spending years in the private sector. In addition to his passion of swimming, Tom thoroughly enjoys golf, reading, fine food, and traveling. A life-long New Englander, Tom is an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He lives in Arches with his wife Karen.
