Mo Vaughn '86 Field Dedication - Video
Posted 09/20/2012 08:36AM

Thanks to the generosity of Mo Vaughn '86, the baseball field was dedicated in his name on September 29th at 1:00 PM during Reunion and Homecoming Weekend.

The Trinity-Pawling baseball diamond, built in 2004, was revamped this summer, and now includes a clay infield and an irrigation system to help the field withstand the Northeast weather.

After graduating from Trinity-Pawling, Vaughn attended Seton Hall.  He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 1991, joined the team in 1993, and earned the American League MVP Award in 1995.  In 1999 he moved on to Anaheim and concluded his playing career with the New York Mets in 2003.
