Mrs. Annie Keel
M.S., Boston University
Annie joined the teaching faculty in 2014 after several years as a busy mom on campus to her two girls. Her husband, Dutch, joined the faculty in 2010 and is currently the Dean of Residential Life and a faculty member in the Science Department.
Annie graduated from William Smith College with a B.S. in Biology. She holds a Masters Degree in Biology from the Boston University Marine Program. Annie and Dutch met while teaching and working on sailboats and sailed professionally for seven years. They spent most of their time with Sea Education Association (SEA) sailing throughout the Western North Atlantic, Caribbean, and North Eastern Pacific. While working in both environmental education and the sail training industry, Annie taught pre-K students through graduate students. After sailing for years, Dutch and Annie were ready to settle down on land and decided to teach at boarding schools. They began teaching at a boarding school in New Jersey. While there, Annie taught science, led a dorm, and advised the environmental group.
