Jonathan Buchman '84

The Trinity-Pawling and Fairleigh Dicksinson connection continues.  Jonathan Buchman was hired as the Assistant Tennis Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where Sean Gleeson '03 serves as a football coach.  Buchman, a 1984 graduate of Trinity-Pawling, was a tennis standout as well as serving as team captain his senior year.  A New York native, he attended the Nick Bolletteri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, FL before attending Trinity-Pawling.  He matriculated to play at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where he graduated in 1988.  

Prior to FDU, he served as Director of the High Performance Program at Ridgefield Tennis Club and Coach of the Ridgefield Boy's Varsity High School team in Ridgefield, CT.  He also works as the Director of Competitive Training at the Four Seasons Racquet Club in Wilton, CT, as well as Senior Teaching Professional at Ivan Lendl's Grand Slam Tennis Club in Bedford, NY.  Jon was Head of Tennis Instruction at New England Tennis Camp in Pawling, NY, this camp was held on the Trinity-Pawling campus. 

Buchman will make his FDU coaching debut as the Knights open their seaon at Lehigh on Feb. 4 in Bethlehem, PA.
