Paul Schacter '08 Leads Salve to a National Title

Paul Schacter '08 (New Fairfield, CT) is the captain of Salve Regina University's Rugby Team, and helped lead the Seahawks to a DIII National Championship in Colorado.  Salve beat California Maritime 22-15 in the championship contest.  This is the third time in the last four years that Salve has reached the final four championships.  Last year they suffered a lost to Longwood University in a semi final matchup.  In order to make it to the final four, Salve needed to win the New England Rugby Football Union Title.  They did so in a decisive fashion, as well as claiming a win in the Region 1 Northeast Championship last November.
