Evan Byers '11 Earns All-America Honor

Byers, a senior linebacker for Bucknell University continues to earn postseason honors.  All ready this season, Byers was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, honored with spots on the American Football Coaches Association All-America Team and the Associated Press All-America Second Team.  Most recently, he was named to The Sports Network All-America Second Team.

A three-time All-Patriot League selection, Byers finished his career with 382 stops, which is a Bucknell University record.  Byers has suited up to play in all 44 games over the last four years, he totaled 40 tackles for a loss, 15.5 sacks, nine pass breakups, six fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and four interceptions to go along with his record-breaking tackle figure.
