Soccer - 3rd vs. Brunswick School

Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Home

Date: October 11, 2017

Result:Win
Score:7-2

Event Recap:
T-P took to their home field for an overcast afternoon game against Brunswick. Some initial miscommunication developed into a back-and-fourth start to the game, before Willie Ackerman scored first to put the PRIDE ahead 1-0. Christopher Devanny would add one more before the end of the first half. Solid play by Brunswick and another goal from Ackerman would bring the score to 3-2 with about 30 minutes to play. Excellent work by Nolan MacLear at the defensive midfield position and Thomas Solecki at center defense allowed T-P to take control after that, with further goals coming from Ackerman, Stephen Willey, Ackerman again, and C. J. Zezima to turn a close game into a rout. Goalie Lukas Hughes had another solid outing, making several key saves in the beginning of the game to keep the score close. T-P will look to bring this momentum into Saturday's contest at Taft.
