Event Recap:
The young Pride Harriers travelled to Choate to compete in a tri-meet with both Choate and Taft.  After a challenging week of training and a renewed sense to purpose, the runners were ready to compete.  To a runner, the team ran hard and showed a significant improvement.  Nick Grande lead the way with a 7th place overall finish.  Joe Perettine, Geoffrey Chu, Jack Long and Jimmy Nolan rounded out the top 5 for the Pride.  Also running in the Varsity race were Ben Yoon, Tyler Manning and Skyler Coard.  Each of these 9 runners improved their season best 5 K time by well over a minute.  Duc Bui, Rodger Ecker, Max Brady, Matthew Romeo, David Poulos, Duy Tran, Oscar Chong, Nick Seldon, Tommy Li, Alex Fang and Jay Wen all ran in the JV race.  Again, these runners improved their season best 5K times significantly.  The coaching staff wishes to congratulate each of these young men for their efforts and also wishes to thank the parents who travelled to Choate and who provided post race snacks.  The team next competes on 10/7 at Kent.
