Soccer - Varsity vs. Taft
Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Away
Date: October 15, 2011
Result:Loss
Score:0-7
Event Recap:
Trinity Pawling traveled to Taft to play an undefeated team.  Trinity Pawling had some concerns as they would be playing with only 13 players due to injuries and illness.  TP was slow out of the gate as Taft scored their first goal 47 seconds into the game.  This seemed to wake up the TP players as they battled hard keeping the score to 2-0 at the half.  Entering the second half TP loss two more players due to injuries that happened during the game; from a result of hard play.  This left the team depleted as Taft pushed harder and harder scoring what at times felt like at will.  Though the game was out of reach, there were many players on the TP side that never gave up.  The defensive unit of Gheorghe Dragamire, Sam Mark, Ben Hall, and Ahmet Bidav were constantly under attack and never gave up.  Matt DeMaria and Braedon Bayer played until the last minute as they pushed hard with a never quit attitude.  Trinity Pawling hopes to change their recent outcomes as they travel to Westminster on Wednesday.
