T-P found themselves down 2-0 at the end of the first period even though they had skated well. The second period saw up and down action with Kent going up 3-0 with 4:33 remaining in the period. When many teams would have called it quits, T-P pushed harder and scored 31 seconds later on a goal by Garritano (assisted by Jurk). Continuing to work hard, T-P scored again with 1:45 remaining in the stanza on a goal by Jurk (assisted by Garritano & Lazarcheck). Kent came back and scored with 52 seconds left in the period to go up 4-2. Kent came out and scored one minute into the third period, but T-P answered right back with a second goal from Garritano (assisted by Jurk). As hard as both teams tried, there was no more scoring in the game. T-P's goalie, Jack Margiotta, saved 22 of 27 shots. The traditional game jersey went to Garritano.
