Event Recap: This was a game that had coaches of both teams wondering what happened to their team defense. There was good news and bad news for T-P. The good news was the 7 goal output by the offense. The bad news was that Taft's offense had 9 goals, including an open net goal. All the goals were great for the spectators of both teams, but for T-P, who has allowed 4 or less goals per game, the lack of defensive discipline was the team's ultimate demise. Bryce Jurk scored 3 goals, Julian Garritano scored 3 goals and Matt Lazarcheck scored 1 goal. Assists went to Tagani, Kingsley, Jurk and Garritano (2). T-P's goalie, Jack Margiotta, saved 32 of 40 shots. The traditional game jersey went to Bryce Jurk. |
