The JV basketball team recorded their fourth straight victory on Saturday as they beat Taft 55-43 in Watertown. TP began the game sluggishly and quickly fell behind 9-1 before they calmed down and began to execute on both ends of the court. Their running game got some quick points and the Pride had a 36-25 lead at the break. The Rhinos closed the margin to 6 points in the early part of the second half, but TP tightened up the defense and finished the game on a strong note. Ben Hall garnered 16 points, Zack Thornton added 15, and Auric Enchill had 10 points in the victory. The team is 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the Tri-State league. TP will travel to Choate for a game on Wednesday before taking a short break for winter weekend.
