Date: February 15, 2012

Result:Win
Score:50-47

Event Recap:
In a rematch of their last loss of the year, the JV basketball team played more aggressively than they did in the first meeting, beating Canterbury School 50-47 on Wednesday; this stretched their winning streak to 9 games.  The Pride got off to a quick start and a 9-0 lead, but the Saints quickly fought back and the game remained close until the very end.  Chris Ryan's layup with 45 seconds left proved to be the winning bucket, as TPs' defense held off a frantic surge by Canterbury at the end.  This was a hard fought victory. Zack Thornton led all scorers with 17 points, while Auric Enchill added 13 points in the victory.  TP will travel to Hotchkiss on Saturday for a rematch with the explosive Bearcats. The team has an impressive overall record of 11-2 and is 7-1 against Tri-State league opponents.
