After reeling off nine straight victories, the JV basketball lost to a solid Hotchkiss squad 79-69 on Saturday in Lakeville. TP 's defense was not as aggressive as usual and they allowed too many uncontested shots. The score was tied at 62-62 when a questionable call on a blocked shot turned the tide dramatically in the Bearcats favor as they went on to control the rest of the game. Ben Hall led all scorers with 21 points, and Mac Brewer (11 points), Ken Hepari (12 points), Shelley Bobrow (13 points), and Auric Enchill (9 points) all played well for the Pride whose record now is 11-3 with games against Berkshire and Kent this week to close out the season.
