Is there a special application for International Students?

International students must complete Trinity-Pawling's online application with an application fee of $125. We also accept the Standard Application Online (SAO) via SSAT.  

Applicants from Mainland China

In order to provide an in-person interview opportunity for all Chinese applicants interested in Trinity-Pawling, we have partnered with Vericant. All candidates from Mainland China must complete a Vericant interview prior to applying to Trinity-Pawling. Vericant will conduct video interviews and short writing samples with our applicants in Mainland China. Vericant does not evaluate candidates but, instead, posts the interviews online for our admissions team to review. All Vericant interviews must be completed by February 1.

Once the interview is complete, a representative from the Office of Admission at Trinity-Pawling will be in touch within 1-2 weeks.

When is my application due?

The application deadline is January 15 for all students, including international students. A completed application also includes a campus visit and interview. Admission decisions are communicated via email on March 10. If you are accepted and decide to enroll, an enrollment contract with your deposit must be submitted by April 10. (Rolling admission begins on March 10).

What tests do I need to take before applying?

A TOEFL test is a requirement for all international students for whom English is not their first language. Please submit a copy of your official test results to the Office of Admission (Code: B074). Students may also take the Duolingo English Proficiency Test for their standardized testing requirement. International students also must take the SSAT (Code: 7750).

Does Trinity-Pawling have any courses designed to meet the needs of non-native English speakers?

Trinity-Pawling's English Mastery Program is a two-year program designed to help international students attain a strong grasp of the English language. The program itself consists of three separate courses, two completed during the first year and one completed during the second. English Mastery Program students benefit from a systematic, explicit instruction of English as they work to obtain college level English fluency. There is an additional cost for the English Mastery Program.
