Philosophy
Trinity-Pawling’s basketball program is built on a tradition of playing with passion and good sportsmanship. Our coaching staff recognizes the importance of skill development and good basketball habits. All basketball players are invited to engage in a dynamic program, detailed by on-court individual workouts and open gyms.
History
Our basketball program has routinely been one of the top programs in NEPSAC Class A, including two New England Championships (1994 and 2005), 27 Tri-State League Championships, and 12 Founders League Championships.
League
Trinity-Pawling Basketball competes in NEPSAC Class A, The Founders, and Tri-State Leagues against teams such as Salisbury, Taft, Hotchkiss, Loomis, Kent, Choate, and Avon Old Farms. The Pride also plays outside of the league against Tabor, Andover, Exeter, Cheshire, and Blair Academy.
Facilities
- Miles Hubbard ’57 Court: Home of Trinity-Pawling Basketball, Hubbard Court was renovated in 2017 with new scoreboards, floors, sound system, and a state-of-the-art video capture and analysis system (PlaySight).
- Smith Field House: Opened in 2017
- Schreiber Weight Room: Renovated in 2014
- Pride Locker Room: Renovated in 2013
