Trinity-Pawling Class of 2020

The time-honored traditions of Stepping Up, Baccalaureate Service, and Commencement Exercises are deeply valued by the entire Trinity-Pawling community. Since we are not able to honor these traditions this year, they have been replaced by new, virtual celebrations to recognize the Class of 2020. These virtual events are not intended to replace or mimic what has been lost. However, we hope that they will offer a chance for our community to come together, pay tribute to this remarkable group of young men, and acknowledge the importance of this turning point in their lives.

In life, it is important to mark the end of a journey before beginning the next. The high school journey for these young men is coming to an end and it is important to celebrate and honor this ending. It is also the beginning of a new journey. This is why we use the term Commencement or the beginning. As we cannot gather in person to honor this ending and beginning, we will gather virtually and in spirit to celebrate and honor this class.

Diplomas and Class of 2020 memorabilia will be mailed to graduates the week of June 1.

The School plans to welcome the Class of 2020 back to campus in the future for an

in-person celebration, in which we can recreate aspects of our time-honored traditions at Trinity-Pawling. When it becomes possible to begin to develop clearer planning for this event, the School will be communicating details with the Class of 2020 and their families.
