Dear Parents and Students,
As we prepare to welcome students back to campus in August, we are reaching out with important information regarding New York State's strict self-quarantine policy.
The State of New York has recently instituted this 14-day quarantine policy (ny.gov) for anyone coming from abroad or from states with high numbers of COVID-19 cases. Currently, restrictions are in place for 31 states.
In order to monitor the safety of all returning students, we request that all students who expect to travel to campus from abroad or a restricted state to complete this form promptly, confirming whether they can and will be making their own self-quarantine arrangements to satisfy the State of New York requirements.
We strongly encourage students to make their own self-quarantine arrangements either in New York or another unrestricted state with low numbers of COVID-19 cases for the two weeks immediately before their scheduled arrival on campus. While we will make every effort to provide a safe and comfortable quarantine environment, quarantining on campus may very well necessitate greater restrictions than an alternative location.
If you have any questions regarding the self-quarantine policy or making your own self-quarantine arrangements, please reach out to Dutch Keel, Dean of Residential Life, at dkeel@trinitypawling.org.
We look forward to welcoming you back to campus next month! Sincerely, ![]() William W. Taylor Headmaster Trinity-Pawling School | 700 Route 22 | Pawling, NY 12564 | 845.855.3100 | www.trinitypawling.org © 2020 Trinity-Pawling School |
