Dear Day Student Families,

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a well-deserved summer vacation, despite the challenges we have faced over the past several months. With the new school year beginning next week, I wanted to share a few details concerning the Opening of School, as Day Students will follow a different schedule this year.

In order to reduce student contact and potential exposure, we have shortened Day Student Orientation to a one-day event. The School has worked diligently this summer to prepare for the year ahead and make adjustments academically, socially, and athletically for the health and safety of our community. I believe it is imperative for each Day Student to attend Orientation on Thursday, September 3, 2020 so that they may learn about the new protocols, guidelines, and expectations for all students and faculty on campus. Below is the complete schedule for the Day Student Opening Days for your reference.

Tuesday, September 1

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Smith Field House

COVID-19 Testing

If you haven't already done so, please select your testing appointment time slot. All details regarding the COVID-19 test and campus arrival can be found in the Day Student Arrival Information communication sent out last week.

Wednesday, September 2

Test results are returned from the lab. The School will contact you directly if your son's test is positive.

Thursday, September 3

9:00 AM Dann Building

Receive packet, schedule, and locker assignment, if reserved.

9:30 – 11:30 AM Dann Building

Returning students, please also remember to bring your student ID cards with you for orientation on Thursday, September 3. New students will receive their ID cards upon arrival.
