Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! We know that the expectations and hopes for 2021 are bountiful. While the challenges of the pandemic remain significant and serious, there is hope on the horizon that is uplifting.
For those students planning to return to Trinity-Pawling School on January 16th or 17th from another state that is not contiguous with New York State, please be aware of the New York State travel guidelines, which stipulate that a COVID test be administered within three days of your travel to the state. While obtaining a COVID test can be challenging in certain areas of the country, we ask that you do your best to work within the state's guidelines. If you encounter a problem working within these guidelines, please contact either Dutch Keel, Dean of Residential Life (dkeel@trinitypawling.org) or Josh Collins '95, Dean of Students (jcollins@trinitypawling.org).
Additionally, if a student will be entering New York State via an airport, he will need to complete a Traveler Health Form, in accordance with the New York State travel guidelines.
When all students return to campus later this month, they will be quarantining in their dormitories until the School administers another COVID test and the results are returned to the School. During this quarantine period, meals will be delivered to the dormitories and students will attend classes remotely. Students will also be able to go outside for fresh air during their quarantine periods under specific circumstances that will be outlined by the dormitory faculty.
We will continue to communicate additional details about the Winter Term in the coming days. As always, thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we navigate these uncertain times together.
