Dear Day Student Parents,
The boys are back and the first few days of school have been full of smiles, activities, sports, and classes. I am thankful that we opened the school year in All Saints' Chapel over the weekend and have returned to family-style meals in Scully Hall. The sense of community has returned and the boys are ready to take advantage of all that Trinity-Pawling has to offer this academic year.
With that said, in order to protect these community events that we were able to reestablish, Day Students – who come and go from campus on a regular basis – are required to take a weekly COVID-19 test. The testing will continue to be a saliva test and will be administered in the Smith Field House every Wednesday morning from 7:30-8:15 AM. As a reminder, students should refrain from eating, drinking, brushing their teeth, or chewing gum at least 30 minutes prior to their test. To facilitate the testing, students are also encouraged to arrive well-hydrated.
I appreciate your support in helping us during this process, as the sooner we can complete the testing each week, the sooner we receive results. I will also remind the boys of the Wednesday testing at the beginning of each week.
The first round of testing for all Day Students will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 7:30 AM.
If you have any questions or concerns about the testing policy or the school year in general, please feel free to contact me via email at jcollins@trinitypawling.org or via phone at 845-855-4882. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation!
Sincerely,
