Health & Wellness

Trinity-Pawling fosters health and wellness in every aspect of student life. Faculty and staff members, dorm parents, and coaches work with our Health and Wellness Center team to ensure that all students feel healthy, safe, and cared for during their time on campus. The Trinity-Pawling Health and Wellness Center provides students with comprehensive, 24/7 health care by dedicated school nurses, athletic trainers, and the school physician.

Mental Health Care

Katie Allen Berlandi, MSW is the School's Dean of Counseling and is also a psychology teacher in the Science Department. She is available for individual counseling to help students adapt to boarding school life and develop strategies for dealing with stress and the challenges of adolescence. She also serves as a comprehensive resource for all mental health issues. Additional mental health professionals are available by appointment for evaluation, treatment, and referrals. Help is always available for anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. If a student needs long-term treatment, he may be referred to a specialist with a referral from a primary care provider.

The School Chaplain, Fr. Daniel Lennox, has a great deal of counseling experience and is also available as a counseling resource. He is in charge of on-campus pastoral care. He should be contacted directly or through a faculty member. Students may wish to discuss both spiritual and non-spiritual issues with Fr. Lennox.
