For almost 20 years the Trinity-Pawling community has participated in a "dress down day" in December to raise money for the Pawling Community Resource Center's Adopt-a-Family program. A "dress down day" allows students and faculty to donate money and exchange the standard coat and tie dress code for more casual clothes for the class day. The T-P community raised close to $1,000 for a local family in need.
Trinity-Pawling's a cappella group The Trinitones recently traveled to New York City to raise funds for this endeavor. The students gathered on the steps of Saint Patrick's Cathedral and sang Christmas Carols in addition to their current concert repertoire. The trip was a success as the boys raised over $150 from this trip for the Adopt-a-Family Program. Matt Travis, Trinity-Pawling's Musical Director added, "This effort is a perfect way to reinforce to our students that the season is more about giving than receiving." Well done Trinitones; well done T-P community .
