Bradford Abbott Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by the Abbott Family and by friends of Brad Abbott in his memory. Brad was a teacher at Trinity-Pawling from 1970-1985

Kevin N. Acrish ’90 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 1989 by Kevin’s parents, family and friends.

William Baschuk Memorial Scholarship Fund

A scholarship endowment fund restricted to aid students of need from a traditionally underrepresented socio-economic background with interests in computer science and mathematics. Established by the Baschuk family. Mr. Baschuk was the father of Bruce Baschuk ’68 and Gary Baschuk ’70.

Oliver Birckhead Scholarship Fund

The Oliver Birckhead Scholarship Fund, established in 2018 through the estate of Oliver W. Birckhead '40, P'67, is a permanently endowed fund intended to provide financial aid to a deserving student as determined by the Financial Aid Committee. The Fund will be administered by the Chief Financial Officer as a permanently-restricted endowment fund at Trinity-Pawling School, Pawling, New York.

William B. Cartier '89 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2001 by family, co-workers, classmates, and friends of William “Billy” B. Cartier. Income to provide scholarship assistance to one or more deserving boys of limited financial means who reside in metropolitan areas.

Class of 1964 Legacy Scholarship Fund

A scholarship fund established in 2014 by the Class of 1964 in honor of their 50th Reunion. The proceeds from this endowment fund will provide scholarships and financial aid for students.

Robert S. Crompton ’81 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2018 by Robert’s family in his memory, this fund provides scholarship assistance to a deserving student.  

Charline and Melinda Daniels Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Daniels’ Family Endowed Scholarship Fund, established in 2017 by Christopher M. Ambrose ’80, is a permanently endowed fund to honor and recognize the John Chase Daniels Family for their support and thoughtfulness during Christopher’s time as a Trinity-Pawling student. This Fund celebrates Char and John Daniels ’48, P’81, and their children, Fred, Mark, and Melinda Daniels ’81. Income from the Fund is to provide financial assistance with preference to deserving students in the Language through Enrichment, Analysis & Development (LEAD) Program.

Matthew E. Dann Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of Matthew Dann, former Headmaster of Trinity-Pawling School.

Helene S. and William W. Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of Helene and William Dunbar, former Assistant Headmaster of Trinity-Pawling School. Income to be used for scholarship assistance to a student of sincere need.

Creighton E. Gatchell ’61 Memorial & Sportsmanship Fund

Established by Creighton’s parents and family in 1994. The scholarship and the annual award are to be granted to students who consistently exhibit outstanding sportsmanship during their participation in athletic competition.

Maurice R. Greenberg Scholarship Fund

Established in 2013 by the Starr Foundation in honor of Maurice R. Greenberg, to award a scholarship to a student with demonstrated financial need. Maybe someone who is studying Mandarin?

William Bradford Turner Hastings ’37 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 1993 by the Rt. Reverend and Mrs. William Bradford Turner Hastings and his friends.

Phillip C. Haughey ’53 Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established September 2017 through the generosity of Margaret M. and Philip C. Haughey ’53. In recognition of the Philip C. Haughey ’53 Three (Tri) Varsity Sport Award, established by the School in 2011 and named in honor of Philip C. Haughey ’53, preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need with preference toward a three (tri) varsity athlete.

William Randolph Hearst Foundation Scholarship Fund

Scholarship to be used for a deserving minority student.

Timothy R. Hickey ’81 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by Timothy’s parents, classmates, and friends. To be awarded to a boy of need, particularly a boy participating in football or lacrosse.

Miles H. Hubbard, Jr. ’57 Scholarship Fund

Alumni, colleagues, and friends of Miles Hubbard established this scholarship in 2001 to provide necessary financial assistance to boys with exceptional athletic ability. Mr. Hubbard served Trinity-Pawling School as teacher, coach, and athletic director for 37 years.

Elizabeth A. Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by husband (John W. Hutchinson) and daughters (Laura and Christa) in Liz’s memory. Elizabeth was a teacher of French and active member of the community at Trinity-Pawling for two decades (1975-1995). The scholarship is awarded annually to a student of good character and motivation who makes a positive contribution to the school community. Consideration is given to the boy’s involvement with foreign language (French) and athletics.

Michael R. Kendall ’89 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by members of the School community in memory of Michael Kendall to provide financial assistance to a deserving student who actively participates in the School’s hockey program.

Ted and Carol Kneeland Scholarship Fund

Established in honor of the Kneelands, former faculty members at Trinity-Pawling School. This fund benefits students enrolled in the Center for Learning Achievement.

J. William Labelle Scholarship Fund

The J. William LaBelle Scholarship Fund, established in 2019 by the Class of 1969, celebrates their 50th Reunion and honors Bill LaBelle. Bill influenced many lives, over fifteen years at Trintiy-Pawling, as a role model, mentor, exceptional biology teacher, and as a superior and beloved coach. This Fund is permanently endowed and intended to provide financial assistance to a deserving student. The Fund is administered by the Chief Operating Officer at Trinity-Pawling School.

Mennillo Family Scholarship

Established in 2012 through the generosity of The Mennillo Family which includes: Mr. Andrea Mennillo, Mrs. Brunella Mennillo, their son Francesco M. Mennillo ‘12, and daughter Giulia M. Mennillo. Selection of the recipient will be made by the Director of Admissions and preference given to a student from Italy or a student from a developing country, who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

Duncan A. Pyle '86 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scholarship in memory of Duncan A. Pyle ’86 to be used for a deserving young man.

Marlynn V. and William P. Scully '57 Scholarship Fund

This fund was established by Marlynn and William P. Scully in the year 2007 in celebration of the fiftieth reunion of the Class of 1957 and as a tribute to the centennial anniversary of the founding of Trinity-Pawling School. Scholarships are to be annually awarded to one or more students of good character who perform at an outstanding level both in the classroom and on the athletic field, and who have documented financial need. Recipients of the scholarship are to be selected by the Head of School.

Phillips Smith P’79 Class of 1990 Scholarship Fund 

This Scholarship Fund was established in 1990 to commemorate Phillips Smith’s contributions to the School during his years as Headmaster of Trinity-Pawling.

Michael B. Stabile ’97 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in Michael’s memory by family, classmates, and friends. Income from this fund provides scholarship assistance to one or more eligible candidates matriculating into Trinity-Pawling’s Language Program. This is a program that alleviates basic learning disabilities, giving the student the opportunity to realize a full range of academic potential through his college years.

CV Starr Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 1980 to provide assistance to a student of choice on the basis of merit and need.

Ernest E. Stempel Memorial Scholarship Fund

To be used as continuing support for student scholarships and financial aid.

Temple Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2018 through the generosity of Jason T. Temple '91, P'16, and John E. Temple P'91, GP'16, this scholarship will support part or the entire grant awarded to selected domestic students as part of their financial or scholarship aid.

Constance and David Tirrell Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 1977. Income to be used for scholarship assistance to one or more students as approved by the Head of School and the Scholarship Committee.

William H. Van Rensselaer '54 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by the Van Rensselaer family. This scholarship is intended to benefit students who are typically sponsored by the Boys’ Club.

Maurice "Mo" Samuel Vaughn '86 Scholarship Fund

Established in 1999 to benefit students of color and of limited financial means.

DeWitt Wallace Reader's Digest Scholarship Fund

Established in 1973. Income to be used exclusively for scholarship assistance to sophomores, juniors, and seniors, preferably for partial scholarships.

Jean F. Webb IV ’54 Scholarship Fund

The Jean F. Webb IV '54 Scholarship Fund, established in 2018 through the generosity of Jeff Webb, is permanently endowed fund intended to provide financial aid to a deserving student as determined by the Financial Aid Committee. Peference will be given to a returning student who would not be able to return to Trinity-Pawling School without the assistance of these monies.
