Take Route 84 East to Exit 39, "Farmington/Route 4." Travel on Route 4 less than one mile, turning right onto Route 10 North. In Avon, turn left and follow Routes 10 North and 44 West for 1/2 mile, turning right at the next major intersection. Continue on route 10 North through Simsbury. Look for the sign to the school on left (995 Hopmeadow Street). Driveway is steep, be careful. Or, follow directions to Kent, CT. Turn right onto Route 341. Follow Route 341 through Warren to Route 202. Take Route 202 through Litchfield and turn right onto Route 118 (after the Litchfield Green). Follow Route 118, which becomes Route 4, through Harwinton and Burlington, until road dead ends after long hill. turn left on Route 179 North. Follow Route 179 North, going over the bridge through Collinsville. After passing the village and then the lake on left, go straight, where sign says "Canton" (Route 179 bears left). Turn right onto Rtes 44/202. Proceed East through Canton. Just past McDonald’s (on left), go left on Route 167 North (Bushy Hill Road). You will pass Ethel Walker School on the right; proceed to the dead end at the traffic light; turn right and proceed one mile on West Street. Turn left onto Route 10 through the village of Simsbury. The school is on the left (995 Hopmeadow Street).
