The Trinity-Pawling 3rd hockey team opened their season at home against a talented squad from Salisbury. The first period ended in a scoreless tie. Salisbury opened the scoring 30 seconds into the second period and the Pride tied it up about one minute later as Toby Berner scored his first goal of the season. Salisbury's talent took over scoring five straight goals. Joe Porto scored T-P's second goal early in the third to finish the scoring. Joey Doyle played a strong game in net for the Pride. Next up for the team is Avon Old Farms on Saturday.
