Trinity-Pawling’s lacrosse program ranks among the top prep school programs in New England. The Pride competes in one of the top athletic leagues in the country: New England West Division I and the Founders League, where games are always tightly contested and feature a great deal of parity. Each season begins with the annual trip to Florida to test the Pride against some of the area's most-vaunted programs before moving into competition against familiar New England rivals.

Trinity-Pawling’s lacrosse program is designed to prepare each boy involved for the rigors of college and life thereafter. Regular meetings and an ongoing dialogue with the coaching staff help to ensure that each boy is meeting his academic, athletic and personal potential. At Trinity-Pawling, the lacrosse program will not only support the boys off the field but will also give them a “first class” lacrosse experience. This includes arguably the top playing venue in the Founders League (David N. Coratti Field), “state of the art” lacrosse equipment,  a full lifting program, film and opponent scout study, fast-paced and structured practice and as demanding a schedule as a high school athlete will find anywhere. In every conceivable way, Pride lacrosse players are prepared to move onto the college ranks and be students, players and people of consequence.

Each year, the Pride sees their senior class matriculate to some of the best colleges and universities in the country, where they are able to continue their playing careers. In just the past five years, alums have moved onto programs in the ACC, Ivy League, Big 10, Patriot League, NESCAC, Liberty League and others. The Pride coaching staff promises that each player in the program will gain access to a list of schools that are an ideal fit for him personally. As most varsity players are seeking to make the transition into a college lacrosse playing experience, the program has been fortunate enough to boast a 100% college placement rate.

A Message from the Coaches:

As all of you already know, Trinity-Pawling lacrosse has a rich tradition surrounded by brotherhood, character, and competitiveness. As a brotherhood we love to compete. We love to win. Again, as you are all well aware, your coaches and teachers had a vested interest in your overall future, not just your lacrosse goals. As a team we will do our best every day to bring home the win. However, our staff will also remember that we are coaching and mentoring young men. Though, at this very moment in their lives, lacrosse is everything. As coaches we know that in the grand scheme of things, it is very little. As a coach, we use lacrosse to teach the life skills vital for our boys to succeed off the field: teamwork, discipline, respect, leadership, dealing with adversity, the joy of victory, and, which has sadly happened with a few of our boys too early in their young lives, the pain associated with loss. Our staff will do our best to make sure we are holding true to a rich tradition put in place by so many before us. We will lead our boys through positive leadership and guidance, but we will be tough and fair when needed.
