Renaissance Men: Art History Students Create Art

Trinity-Pawling students of Art History took time out from looking at slides and reading from textbooks and learned what it is like to actually CREATE ART!
Since the students are currently studying Renaissance art, they learned to paint in three traditional ways. The first was fresco painting (painting on plaster); next was painting in egg tempera using the yolks of eggs; and the third method was mixing pigments with linseed oil to make small oil paintings.
