Weekends
Enjoy Yourself!
At Trinity-Pawling, we offer an exceptionally long list of extracurricular activities — opportunities for students to learn new things and build communities within the larger School community. Each weekend, the School provides a variety of activities and adventures for students to join, both on and off campus. After Saturday’s academic programming and athletic commitments, students have the opportunity to join their friends and classmates in a number of ways for the remainder of the weekend — to kick back and relax, enjoy the outdoors, explore the local Hudson Valley area, or whatever suits their interests!
On-campus activities each weekend may include:
- Dodgeball or basketball tournaments
- Softball on the quad
- Food truck visits
- Trivia nights
- Hiking trips
- Video game competitions
- Fishing or canoeing at the pond
- Pond hockey in the winter
- Spirit Weekend activities
- Yard game competitions
- Scavenger hunts...and more!
Off-campus activities each weekend may include:
- Shopping trips to nearby malls
- Restaurant and movie outings
- Museum visits
- Mini golfing
- Hiking on the Appalachian Trail
- Local art exhibition visits
- Mountain biking excursions
- Trips to New York City
- Seeing a Broadway musical
- Cheering on the Pride at an away game
- Social events with sister schools...and more!
Students are also encouraged to participate in service activities that support our local community — from the Pawling Resource Center to Relay for Life.
Which activities will you join on the weekends? The choice is yours!

It’s so important for students to get out of the dorms and have engaging experiences each weekend — whether that’s a trip to the mall, a local restaurant, or something a bit more exciting, like going to a Yankees Game, hiking, or go-karting.
